Lou is a Vice President in Evergreen Advisors’ CFO Advisory Practice. He is an experienced Chief Financial Officer and has over 20 years experience with managing accounting and finance functions. He has a diverse industry background with a primary focus in high-growth technology and Government contracting companies. Lou has a track record of being a leader that focuses on driving financial improvement.

CFO Advisory

Prior to joining Evergreen Lou was the Chief Financial Officer for BrainTrust Holdings, LLC; a growth-oriented government contractor for IT services. During his tenure, he was primarily responsible for pursuing and strengthening the financial and organizational structure to support continued growth including driving the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting functions. With a diverse accounting, treasury, and finance background, Lou managed the company's relationships, financial systems, processes, and internal control. Working closely with their banks, advisors, and insurance companies to ensure the successful execution of the company’s strategy to achieve operational success.

Lou began his career in Boston, Massachusetts at Coca-Cola Enterprises as a staff accountant with responsibility for multiple distribution centers. From there was the Assistant Treasurer for a general aviation business with responsibility for all treasury, accounting, and finance functions, Group Controller with The Rouse Company, Director of Compliance at EnergySolutions, and Controller with Next Century Corporation.
Lou has maintained a passion for his work throughout his career, focused on delivering results for all stakeholders.

Education

Lou received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Waynesburg and Masters of Business Administration from Loyola University.
