Evergreen Advisors seeks an experienced Outsourced Chief Financial Officer for the Baltimore Metropolitan Area. Evergreen Advisors is a leading investment bank and advisory firm focused on assisting emerging growth and middle-market companies in the areas of corporate finance, growth and exit strategies, valuations and advisory services.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team on a full-time basis. As an outsourced CFO, you will work with emerging-growth companies to build infrastructure to later-stage companies that need a subject matter expert and capital market expertise. Evergreen Advisors’ Outsourced CFO team works as a senior member of a Company’s management team to provide strategic guidance, provide forward-focused strategy that helps accelerate growth, helps with budgeting, forecasting and reporting, financial planning, and helps with Capital Raise and M&A support.
Position Title: Full-Time Outsourced Chief Financial Officer
- Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the client’s growth objectives.
- Capital Raising: Proven track record in capital raising and M&A support.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop budgets, financial models, and forecasts to support strategic decisions.
- Risk Management: Implement financial risk management strategies and monitor financial performance.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and board of directors.
- Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and support growth initiatives.
- Advisory Role: Provide financial advice and support to the executive team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO or similar executive-level finance position.
- Strong capital raising experience, including working with venture capital, private equity, and/or debt financing.
- Excellent strategic planning and financial analysis skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
