Todd is a Director in Evergreen’s Business Valuation practice and an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA).
Todd has over twenty-five years of professional experience in complex consulting matters involving valuation, economic analysis, and financial analysis.He consults with clients on financial and accounting matters involving revenue forecasting, cost estimation, cost of capital, fraud, due diligence, and business valuation. His business valuation consulting clients include accounting firms, attorneys, and business owners for gift and estate tax reporting, buy/sell agreements, divorce, financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, lender support purposes, and the review of business appraisal reports.
His work has encompassed a wide range of industries, including but not limited to: advertising, automotive, construction, financial services, food services, franchises, government contracting, health care, hedge funds, hospitality, information technology, lobbyists, medical products, not-for-profits, pharmaceuticals, real estate, restaurants, retail, software, and telecommunications.
Todd’s professional experience includes industry and consultancies. Prior to joining Evergreen Advisors, his consulting expertise was honed from specialized practices at Cortland Valuation Group, Econ One Research, Inc., Willamette Management Associates, and Dispute Analytics LLC. This experience also includes over nine years in the Financial Advisory Services practice at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Litigation
Todd has been designated an expert by Federal, State and Circuit courts. He has been engaged as an expert witness in the areas of valuation of closely held businesses and fractional interests in closely-held businesses, wrongful death valuation, personal injury damages, and wrongful termination.
Professional Designations
Todd is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) with the American Society of Appraisers. In addition, he continues to supplement his education with courses in valuation, financial analysis, taxation, and forensic accounting.
Education
Todd has a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantitative Business Analysis from Penn State University, and an MBA from the University of Maryland, with a concentration in finance.
Organizations
Todd is an active member of national and local valuation-related professional organizations. He currently serves as co-chair of the Business Valuation Committee of the Washington D.C. Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers. Todd has also served as a member of the board of directors of various not-for-profit organizations and his service has included responsibilities of President, Vice-President, and member of the Finance Committee.
Interests
Outside of the office, Todd enjoys spending time with his family, his labrador retriever and solving problems around the house. He bleeds blue and white for Penn State in any season. He is a multi-tasker and problem solver, necessary skills for assisting clients with valuation needs.
