Patrick is a Director in Evergreen’s Business Valuation practice and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Patrick has over two decades of experience in the fields of business valuation, financial forecasting, and business consulting.
His background includes valuation of businesses for tax planning, financial reporting, business and estate planning. Through his leadership role at a global public accounting firm, Patrick has gained extensive experience in financial reporting (business combinations, goodwill impairments, complex equity allocations, private equity portfolio investments) as well as valuation services for tax planning (gift and estate, pre-sale planning, and management incentive units). He has served as the lead valuation professional on several hundred business appraisals and is known for his responsiveness to clients and their advisors in providing high-quality defensible appraisals.
Unique to the mid-Atlantic, Patrick frequently works with companies in government contracting, cybersecurity, information technology, early-stage enterprises, distribution and manufacturing, and real estate holding companies. Furthermore, Patrick is committed to the ethics and integrity standards of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
Education
Patrick received his Master of Science in Finance (MSF) from the Sellinger School of Business at Loyola University Maryland and his Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Towson University.
Professional Designations
Patrick holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute. He also is an active member of the local Baltimore, Howard County, and Washington DC Estate Planning councils
