Mike is an Analyst in Evergreen’s Location Strategies practice.
Mike commands a vast skill set that includes financial and data analysis, incentive implementation, compliance and risk management, and extensive research abilities for identifying economic and tax related incentives. He began his career as a financial auditor for Ernst & Young where he provided assurance services to public and private SaaS and Biotech companies focusing on implementation of upcoming changes to subscription-based revenue recognition standards.
At ELS, Mike is focused on supporting client projects through thoughtful and detailed incentive, labor and site comparison analysis as well as working on incentive implementation. It is his attention to detail during implementation that ensures that ELS clients receive the full benefit of the incentive package negotiated on their behalf.
Education
Michael graduated from San Jose State University. He holds a BS with concentrations in Accounting and Business/Management.
Interests
Mike is a creative virtuoso in graphic and web design, a maestro in music production, and a green-thumbed gardening enthusiast. He is also a long-time volunteer of an advocacy group providing mentorship and support to people transitioning back into daily life after a spinal cord injury. Through my volunteer work, I learned that no matter how good my advice was for someone I was trying to mentor, If we didn’t have a good relationship, I wasn’t effective in helping them achieve their goals. As a result, I developed a strong emphasis on the importance of establishing and maintaining my client’s trust.
