Marianne is she is a highly skilled analytical researcher with extensive experience in collecting and analyzing large datasets to gain insights and make decisions in academic environments. She is a creative problem solver, adept at optimizing programs and identifying opportunities to improve productivity, performance, and compliance. As a collaborative communicator, Marianne is known for cultivating positive relationships across diverse cultures and all professional levels. She leverages her education experience with a scientific background to drive organizational goals.
At ELS, Marianne identifies federal, state, county, city, and regional incentives used in negotiations for investment and employment projects in finalist communities. She also calculates impacts to communities and evaluates regional competition using ArcGIS. As a residential real estate investor for over 20 years, she brings her experience in site selection over multiple states and cash-flow analysis to her new role.
Education
Marianne graduated from the University of Delaware, holding a BS in Biological Sciences. She also holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University in Microbiology and Immunology.

When she’s not deciphering data, you can find her conquering trails, camping under the stars, and seeking hidden treasures through geocaching. As a volunteer in the Scouts BSA world, she channels her passion for perseverance into shaping the next generation of trailblazers.
