John is a Vice President in the Evergreen Advisors’ Outsourced CFO Advisory Practice.
John has a strong background in CFO Advisory, including accounting and financial reporting, budgeting, business systems, financial strategy, and overseeing all financial functions, including corporate development, mergers, acquisitions, integrations, and investor relations.
CFO Advisory
John began his career with Knorr Brake Company, involved with critical business restructuring, integrations, ERP implementations, and leading the Finance and Information Systems. During his time with Knorr, he lived and worked in Beijing with their Asia-Pacific team, where he orchestrated two joint ventures (Knorr-Bremse Daxing CARS & Knorr-Bremse Nankou Air Supply) between Munich, Germany-based Knorr-Bremse AG, and Chinese State-Owned Enterprises.
Prior to joining Evergreen John worked closely with growth-oriented mid-size Private Equity backed organizations. He was the CFO of M&M Refrigeration, a private equity-backed industrial refrigeration manufacturer in Federalsburg, MD. Previously, he was the CFO for Motor City Industrial, a private equity-backed wholesale industrial supplier.
Education
John earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems & Philosophy from Stevenson University and a Masters of Business Administration from Loyola University, Maryland.

John is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma international honors society and was a charter member of their Detroit chapter.
Interests
In his free time, John enjoys exercise and adventure. He employs the same methodical approach and rigorous work ethic while training for marathons, forecasting surfing conditions, and exploring the outdoors as he does developing and implementing optimal client solutions.
