Cybersecurity Association of Maryland, Inc. Elects 2019 Board of Directors

As CAMI enters its third year in operation, it will be staffed by President & CEO Stacey Smith and Marketing & Events Manager Samantha Conklin. Notes Smith, “CAMI continues to be a nationally unique organization with a mission of connecting Maryland’s cybersecurity companies with entities (commercial, government, academic and non-profit) everywhere that need cybersecurity solutions. In just three years, we have over 400 cybersecurity technology and services companies and almost 50 general service providers associated with our organization as members. I look forward to growing the organization and creating a more cyber secure business environment in Maryland and beyond with the help of our Board leadership, committees and many volunteers.”

CAMI is also focused on various workforce initiatives and operates a nationally-unique, skills-based cybersecurity jobs portal. “Cybersecurity is critical to every business and government agency, and the demand for professionals with cybersecurity skills and experience has grown tremendously,” said CAMI Chairperson Gina Abate. “It was important for us to have several exceptional subject matter experts from this arena serving on our Board and Advisory Council.”
