Investment Banking Internship

Evergreen Advisors is a leading investment bank and advisory firm focused on assisting emerging growth and middle-market companies in the areas of corporate finance, growth and exit strategies, valuations, and advisory services.

We are seeking ambitious, high-achieving candidates for our 8-week summer internship at our Columbia, Maryland office. This hands-on opportunity offers real-world experience in the fast-paced field of Investment Banking.

What You’ll Gain:

• Direct involvement in M&A advisory engagements, supporting both junior and senior team members.
• Hands-on experience in preparing marketing presentations, including confidential information memoranda and pitch materials.
• The chance to create and analyze complex financial and valuation models.
• Opportunities to identify potential acquirers and review precedent market transactions for active deals and new prospects.
• Exposure to deep-dive research across macroeconomic trends, industries, and companies.
• Responsibility for maintaining and updating the market contact database for specific engagements.
• A solid understanding of the M&A deal process from start to finish.

What We’re Looking For:

• A rising senior at a U.S.-based university, majoring in finance or business.
• Strong proficiency in financial statement analysis, valuation, and modeling; experience with Capital IQ and PitchBook is a plus.
• Excellent technical skills paired with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• A motivated self-starter who thrives both independently and in team settings.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

This internship is fully on-site at our Columbia, Maryland office. Interns are expected to work in person throughout the 8-week program.

Compensation: Hourly at $18.00 per hour
