Eric is the Managing Director of Evergreen Advisor’s CFO Advisory practice.
Eric Clarke has over 20 years of CFO and finance experience, and supporting capital raises, growth strategies and exits in the cybersecurity, technology, and life sciences sector. With a proven track record of success, including supporting millions in capital raises from seed to institutional funding, and being the financial lead for multiple successful exits to companies such as Microsoft and Synopsys, Eric has the ability to add value throughout the company’s entire life cycle.

Eric’s role helps entrepreneurs accelerate the growth of their businesses by providing strategic and tactical CFO guidance. Eric is passionate about the intersection of finance, strategy, and technology. He is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs advance their businesses, achieve their goals, and understand the financial impact of key strategic decisions. Eric has served several full time and consulting CFO roles, and prior to joining Evergreen was CFO for a small cap company, where he oversaw all financial, treasury, and strategic operations and doubled the size of the company’s revenue.
Education
Eric earned his Bachelor of Arts from Wheaton College and a Masters of Accountancy from George Washington University.

Eric is a member of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
