
Chris Moyer
Chris is a Senior Manager in Evergreen Location Strategies' Practice. He has more than 20 years’ experience in economic development, technology, and financial services and was named one of North America’s Top 50 Economic Developers in 2019, as released by Consultant Connect, a consultant agency designed to bridge the gap between economic developers and site consultants.
Chris's prior experience has given him a unique perspective that enables him to maximize government support for client projects and navigate through complexities associated with securing project commitments and approvals.
Prior to Evergreen, Chris was the Director of Economic Development in Cecil County, Maryland. He has assisted businesses such as Amazon, Northrop Grumman, Medline, Smithfield, Fortress Steel, Great Wolf Lodge, and Warwick Mushroom with attraction or expansion projects in Cecil County. He was previously at the Baltimore Development Corporation focused on increasing jobs and capital investment in Baltimore City within technology industry clusters, including advertising technology, biotechnology, cybersecurity, education technology, and health IT. He worked with companies such as Bambeco, Carefirst, Legg Mason, OneMain Financial, Pandora Jewelry, Transamerica, and Under Armour and technology companies such as AOL, CyberPoint International, Emergent Biosolutions, Lupin Pharmaceuticals, Millennial Media, and Paragon Bioservices. These projects exceeded $2.0 billion in value and resulted in approximately 11,000 jobs.
In addition to his leadership and experience in economic development, Chris’ diverse professional background includes ten years in financial services at industry leaders T. Rowe Price and MBNA. Chris has also actively participated in numerous boards, including the Bainbridge Development Corporation, Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore Advisory Committee, Northeast Maryland Tech Council, and Regional Advanced Manufacturing Partnership of Maryland.
Education
Chris holds an MBA at Loyola Unversity of Maryland Sellinger School of Business and Management and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Unversity of Maryland, Robert H. Smith School of Business.

Interests
Outside the office, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and golf. The strategy and focus that both of these demand are also evident in his approach to successful outcomes for his clients.
