Situation
This Maryland based manufacturer of modular office buildings was founded in the 70s. The founders desired to sell the business to a well-capitalized buyer who could fund expansion of production facilities to meet growing demand.

Objective
The founders were seeking a liquidity event, expansion capital, and continued involvement with the business.

Solution
Evergreen managed a sales process which minimized publicity in the industry. We identified buyers in tangential industries and private equity funds. Evergreen was successful in closing the transaction with a private equity fund which provided bonus incentives and a minority equity stake in the acquirer.
