OVERVIEW
The Company is focused on constructing and managing Data Center Pod Parks in attractive, low operating cost locations utilizing a modular concept. This modular concept allows for flexibility in scaling the park at materially lower costs (less than 50% of the costs of building a traditional data center) while providing the customer significant operating savings in utility, facility maintenance, network access and time to market. Utility costs can be reduced by up to 80% and the burden of facility maintenance on the customer is eliminated. Network access is abundant, diverse and less costly than most metro regions. Implementation time can be reduced from six months to two months – greatly improving time to market for customer.
The Company has assembled a strong management team, established key strategic market partnerships with fiber, utility and component suppliers and is poised to penetrate this high growth colocation market which has forecasted growth rates in excess of 10% per annum. The Company will initially target tenants from the IT equipment manufacturers, major universities, web 2.0, content providers and high speed trading institutions.
The Company has identified five primary locations for market expansion in the contiguous United States. The initial funding will be used to build a site at a location already identified in the Midwest. The Pod Park will be differentiated from the market by providing economical and abundant power, ample network access to metro exchanges, Tier 2 – 4 infrastructure, 24/7 security and technical support in a completely neutral operating environment.
